Junior Dance Days (Week 1) Rec to Year 6

Service Description

We are offering these Dance Days to our younger dancers again this year. The course is 10.00am - 3.00pm each day and they will need to bring packed lunch and snacks. They will follow a warm up to help them to prepare physically and mentally for the day ahead (this usually helps deal with any nerves too). They will then be separated into year groups where they will take part in a dance class aimed at their ability and age group. Later in the day the students will study the plot and characters of a Musical and then learn some choreography from that show giving them the opportunity to explore their own choreographic skills. The day will be broken up with a short refreshment break in the morning and afternoon, a lunch break and some outdoor exercise.
